I dont really like the first Spider-Man suit. I never have even when it was new. Not to say its bad by any means but they tried to make it look edgy and aggresive, thats the only way I can describe it. For one the eys are not round, they are slanted and pointy, I think thats the most "aggressive" aspect. What I dislike the most is the webbing is a really thick silver and I dont see why it wasnt black and much more thin or even a pattern instead of sticking out like it's all wrapped in wire. In ASM2 they still have the silver but made it much more thin and less thick, while that looks much better I still prefer it black and thats what they're doing now. I think ASM2 and Civil War are both great and are trying to represent different era's of Spider-Man's costume whereas the one from Raimi's trilogy made up its own thing.
