What the fuck is this movie /tv/? watched it for the first time last night, was honestly confused as to how bad and good it was. Was really surprised to see the almost universal acclaim considering there are just so many hilariously absurd parts of this movie
what gives?
love it tho, 8/10

Kinda answered your own question. It's effectively ridiculous and enjoyable.

Obligatory
As a concept it's interesting and the execution is mostly spot-on, but what REALLY took me out of this shitfest is the use of stunt-doubles that look fucking NOTHING like Nicolas Cage and John Travolta.
John Woo a shit

>Travolta touch
IT HASN'T BEEN RECOVERED YET?
This movie is top poetry, lads.

kino
Are you kidding its the greatest film ever made
The fact that they took a concept so ridiculous and committed realizing it so fully is what makes it great. And its a 10/10 Cage faces kino alone.
Ending the movie with a boat chase cuz why not: genius.

its just classic nic cage
Ang Lee's Hulk should've been John Woo's Hulk
I remember the film scared the fuck out of me when I was a kid
Their faces change but they have the same body.
So dude should have just whipped out his dick at his wife. She should recognize it.
this movie is one of the best examples of "it's so bad it's good"
>cage and travolta have the same body types

NO MORE DRUGS FOR THIS MAN!
I kind of wish the movie went in the direction of "after switching faces they now start to behave like the characters" so the crook likes being a cop and the cop likes being a bandit.
I felt the same way when I watched Swordfish for the first time last night. It had parts that were awesome and amazing and it had parts that where hilariously bad.
