I have been on /tv/ since 2010, and since then, or even before then, "Star Trek" threads have been being made all day, every day, and it's most probably one, or two persons, three at the most, because of the style.

TOS. Not only was Turnabout Intruder not an "ending" (they didn't really do that back then anyhow, and the producers weren't really expecting the show to be over, at that), it was arguably one of the worst episodes of the series and set a standard for sexism that succeeding writers had to work hard to live down ("Your world of starship captains doesn't have room for women." I believe the quote was).
At least the crew got a nice sendoff in The Undiscovered Country, over twenty years later.

I've only seen TOS, TNG and DS9 so far, but DS9's ending was fucking horseshit. Or at least the last 20 min of it. I almost turned it off when they started doing the flashbacks; what a lazy way to send off your characters.
The TOS finale was a really solid episode, but I think TNG was almost the perfect finale.
