Why do you think spear chucker was kicked out in the first 4 episodes or so? They recognized that and kicked them off.
I love the show because my grandfather and I would watch it together, but Alan Aldas constant liberal spewing pisses me off to no end. I also hate how he bashes the army constantly. The army is full of good men, but he makes it out to be that every person who willingly joins the army is a cuck.

The preachy episodes were pretty bad but I think it was fair given that he's a hippie doctor sitting in not-vietnam waiting for a war to end that no one seems to know what they are really fighting for.
Funny parts where they played off the reality of the situation for cool plot twists like their car getting stripped of its tires and shit when they leave it outside for a second were nice.
I liked bald smug guy better than Blake. Blake just felt like he was too villainous and dumb sometimes so even when he got humanized it wasn't as fun and his relationship with the token woman character was pretty unsatisfying.

I really like the dialogue pacing of this show. Feels pretty modern.
I enjoy all the rapid-fire patter and little barbs being thrown around constantly.
Frank Burns was played way too pathetically. He didn't need to be nearly so whiney nor did he have to be such an asshole ALL the time. It makes his character one of the least believable in the show.

I think someone would have called Klinger on his shit and beat his ass behind the supply tent. They wouldnt put up with a cross dresser for one day. Also Major Winchester was the least likeable character imo. Oh yeah, the first 2 seasons were GOAT

Losers who some how got through college with a degree. Decide to join the military as an officer because they thought it would be prestigious. End up being miserable but too scared to leave, because having a civilian career would be too hard.

Makes me laugh because it's such a "liberal" show for its time but watching Henry's last epasode he just grabs Margaret and lays one on her. MASH would be problematic if it was on the air today.
