Yeah the ending ruined it for me, this was supposed to be a realistic sci-fi movie and it blew any chance of realism completely out of the water in the last act, to give us some ridiculously schmultzy bullshit ending.

If Plan B was setting up a colony and NASA discarded Plan A before the expedition left Earth, why did they only send a woman and three men?
Wouldn't be more logical sending more women so they could reproduce at a decent pace?
