They're quite bad and don't hold up on repeat viewings. Nolan has a bizarre style to him and can't write dialogue. I cringe an equal amount in all three movies. And all three movies have equally the same pants-on-head retarded plot holes that make you question Nolans common sense. Overall, they're extremely overrated, with TDK being by far one of the most overrated movies ever. But if I had to pick my favourite, I'd say TDKR. And no, not for the memes, but because it actually had interesting action scenes you could make out.

This. Begins was an amazing Batman film. It had a touch of grit and noir with a whole lot of Pulp style. Gotham felt like Gotham and not just Chicago.

8/10 average. It could have been one of the all time great trilogies but TDKR was an embarrassing mess. Despite this I liked how everything wrapped up with Robin, but the impact that had on me was greatly diminished by Alfred seeing Bruce in Italy, whether it was a dream sequence or not, it pissed me off. He died and that scene did not belong.
