There were a few funny jokes. A lot of it was low brow effortless humor. It was an okay movie. Wasn't bad, wasn't great.

I agree op, solid 7/10. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would though. the trailer made me cringe but I guess all the bad jokes were in it. I genuinely laughed several times and the action was pretty great. would've been even better with a bigger budget. i'm just excited to see cable in the sequel.
I honestly don't know how I'm ever going to get a girlfriend. When the two main normies were talking to each other and they just kept saying quick witty remarks back and forth, I just couldn't keep up. Do normies really interact like this in actual social situations.
Saw it with my gf yesterday. It was great. 8/10, by far the best capeshit movie there is.

No. This is a movie. Some people do this in real life, but they are not people you want to emulate. Their kind will be extinct in another couple years, replaced by another hip archetype.
I chugged a 40 of malt liquor before I went in so maybe that skewed my opinion but it was a decent way to spend an afternoon.
The only funny part was when he was at the Xmen Mansion and said something along the lines of why were they the only 2 people there, production couldn't afford anyone. Or something like that.
Saw it tonight, was very disappointed. I guess it just isn't my type of humor? Didn't enjoy a single moment desu except maybe the fight in the fire

It was fun. I felt the ending fight scene definitely dragged on in a very abysmal way like they were stretching for jokes constantly. The rest was a good time. I'd agree to 7/10

I know deadpool is supposed to be le random and at one point was even 4chan: the character, but the movie was too much. It jumped the shark right when the opening credits began rolling. "Produced by: some overpaid asshat" isn't funny. I would go as far as to say that it's pandering to the slave-master morality of the consumer. Its humor is derived from the contempt the audience has for the bourgeois elite, more commonly known as the "1%"
Right away the movie establishes the precedent that it's to be trusted and on the same team as the audience, not like those other movies that are produced by overpaid asshats. Fuck them.
This comes in to play as the movie progresses, referencing the common consumer's basic knowledge of pop culture trivia. Its style of humor is characteristic of a certain website, further cementing the typical inane mindset of said website in the mind of the average moviegoer.
It's an exercise in post modern populism
