Prometheus was alright, interesting little story of human belief.
But really though I fault it strongly for pretty much telling us everything there is to know about the Space Jockeys and the Xenomorphs. In Alien it truly FELT Alien in that no one knew what the fuck was going on. In Prometheus it says the Jockeys are our maker and they wanted to turn us into Xenomorphs for some bizarre religious ceremony.
I'd be more excited if Covenant just avoided Xenomorphs and Space Jockeys entirely and had it be a new movie monster. Unforunately that will never happen especially since there's no more HR Giger around to draw disturbing shit.
There will be an engineer/xenomorph love scene. But here's where it gets interesting. We show it. We show ALL of it. I'm talking about full penetration. Fights aliens, full penetration, more fighting, full penetration, and so on, until the movie just sort of ends.
