what went wrong?

Everything
dude lets make a gritty reboot of a whacky 60's technicolor scifi show
>>64733746
Even as a kid I cringed at the CG alien thing. Other wise it wasn't that bad.
Everything was fine until alternate timeline spider hybrid Smith.
It was actually a fun movie until that crap.
>>64733746
As a kid I had the biggest crush on Lacey Chabert because of this movie..
But the only scene I really remember is when Joey activates his helmet. That was tight.
>>64733746
not enough penny
>>64733746
The screenwriter also wrote "Batman and Robin" if that gives you any clue.
The director is hit and miss (more miss), but ultimately when the producer has a shitty idea and you don't say "fuck you" then this is what you get.

and yet it was more memorable and was more exciting than TFA. The only line though that makes me cringe very time I remember it and its been what, nineteen odd years now is, "Last one to kill the bad guy, buys the beer."
that, will haunt me forever.
>>64733746
Nothing. It was a shit show made into a shit movie WITH a super hot Milf, a super hot chick and a super hot loli.
This was some of earliest marathon faps.
>>64734321
No, it wasn't.
>>64734321
>yet it was more memorable and was more exciting than TFA.
>Implying something went wrong
The robot was cool.
The spaceship was lame.
derelect ship was cool
spiders were kind of cool
3rd act was weak
Hey, it's Joey!
What went right?
Everything about this was bad.
Yes, Lacey Chabert was cute. That did nothing for the movie. It was pure crap.
>>64734267
>But the only scene I really remember is when Joey activates his helmet. That was tight.
Those helmets were a super cool idea.
>>64733746
I actually really liked this movie when I was younger. Growing up the dialogue was the thing I noticed first, it's goddamn awful and if this was a modern movie it would essentially sound like a transformers film in how people talk.
Honestly aside from BLAARP the effects all ages pretty well and I really like the spider sequence. The acting is a prequel like spectrum of insane overacting to wooden to just fucking awful.
>>64734381
>>64734425
yeah it was. it was suspenseful too. the force awakens was just bullshit. no fun, just a by the numbers type of movie. it was like A new Hope's retarded autistic cousin.
I haven't seen this movie in atleast 10 years but I remember the intro scene feeling like almost a different movie to what followed it.
Needed more of Lacey Chabert in that chrome suit
Isn't this the movie that actually beat titanic in the box office on 1998?
>>64733746
nothing was better then gay star wars
based Matt Lablonk
>>64733746
>yfw "dont forget about me~..."
>>64733746

>>64740125
Her little girl tits just looked way too nice all film. It wasn't fair to lonely little boys like me.
>>64740252
how old was she during that movie?
>>64740355
She was about 16 when it came out so maybe 15 while filming
>>64740399
Probably 14-15
>>64734267
my negro, that helmet and the combat model ship robot that the kid could assume control over were sweet
>>64734071
It's not gritty, though. It's a pretty light-hearted flick up with, like, one somewhat dark moment (the Spider Smith at the end).
I came here for the webbums

>>64741296
are you kidding this movie is dark as fuck! Not just spider Smith, Will living alone all those years after his family dies, the scene where they discover their own graves, the spaceship actually exploding when they try to escape the planet, killing his family a second time (before Will sends his dad back to just before it explodes).
Even earlier in the film they find that derelict ship from earth with no survivors that was sent out to find them.
>>64742404
Is that Ted Moseby?
anyone got the longer webm where she offers him the handie?
>>64742624
Looks a bit like Courtney Cox in this one
The entire thing with the derelict ship is what fostered my love of that trope in movies, books, and video games. Abandoned ships, forgotten ruins, and secret bases get my cock hard like nothing else. The mystery and atmosphere of it all... Unf.
