>>
>>64734323
I remember watching making-of vids and stuff, and at one point I believe they mentioned that they could perfectly render the ground on the game grid for example, that on The Grid a lot of things should be perfectly smooth because they're computer generated... but it looked fake. In a bad way. So even though from a world-building point of view it didn't make much sense, they textured it to look a little scuffed, a little scratched, like something that may exist irl. I guess a lot of that was knowing the limitations of what the audience will buy. (That's also why filmmakers need to add absurd sound effects because the sounds things actually make sound fake on film. Weird stuff.)

That plus it used a lot of practical effects. EL tape in the suits, actually building the End of Line club, stuff like that.

The difference between them and the other CGI is that they're the main focus of the frame for most of their time in the film.

It's also due to the 24 fps motion blur rendering. When Jackson switched to 48fps in the Hobbit the renders have a shorter trail of blur and less grain, something in the renders doesn't sit right. And when there's faster camera panning in CG backgrounds, the conversion to 24 fps gives of a jerky quality.

because a real sword fight is just two guys making lots of feints, trying to get the right distance and tempo to nick the opponent's arm and disable him. it's kind of slow and funny looking until the killshot, which happens too fast or the eye to follow. wouldnt translate well to a movie like this

I don't even get the maymay though. We've been through 360 spins before this, but none so fast, and this one makes me think it's sincere. These fags actually do like the prequels. That would explain all the anti-RLM threads of late too. It's likely the result of /pol/tards and /v/ crossing over to shit all over TFA, giving the underaged fags the opportunity to come out of the woodwork and shit on it, while at the same time sucking on prequel cock.
It's sad to think about the fact that Sheev was a maymay not long ago an not something people did unironically.

Goddamn, why do so many movies look like shit compared to this today with their CGI?

TFA put zero thought into any of the war side of Star Wars

Don't let the masses know about it, it's still good right now and I don't want it ruined by edgy teenagers here

I think it looks better because it's more Impressionistic, aka not so detailed, and a lot is left to imagination, this is generally the approach to good paintings aswell, implying details instead of rendering them out.

This is what made me hate the movie the most, the battles were one thing that the prequels did fucking great, despite not being as bad as every redditor wants to make you believe. The battle scenes with clone troopers were so cool and the order 66 cuts where they show all those different planets were such a little moment but built so much, that is what I loved about the prequels

Phase 2 Clone troopers are fly as fuck, if he means the reptile alone, then it's still alright, it's very well animated, too well for the rest of the scenery in a still frame

Am I the only who didn't really like EP4? It didn't click for me. Also, the length was ridiculous.
