I didn't like it at first, but every time I thought about it afterwards the imagery really affected me. Just an absolutely brutal watch. I need to get on some more Aleksei.

It's more or less like any other A. German movie: people passing the camera by while babbling nonsense and giggling. The only difference is that this one isn't set in a provincial Russian town in Stalinist times.
