Only real computer geeks think Han Solo was cool. That's why he's only cool amongst Star Wars nerds. Lucas wrote his idea of what a cool man would be and he was so far off because he's a beta. How about in the cantina scene where that alien just comes up to Luke and threatens him for no reason? Lucas' idea of how bar tough guys get into fights.
