What steaming services do you use /tv/?

I tried Genesis on Kodi but it doesn't give me 1080p reliably.
>>
>>64585391
Streaming movies for free isn't considered illegal downloading in Japan, so I just stream whatever I want for free.
>>
>>64585434

MAXIMUM PLEB
>>
>>64585391

I use µtorrent to download YIFY movies and read them on VLC at speed x3 on 1/4 of my Alienware laptop screen while I browse reddit and /tv/ listening to the movie and a Pink Floyd album, eating Doritos.
>>
>>64585497
So hold up, I can simply stream torrents on XBMC? Whoa what a time to be alive!

God dammit /tv/ there's always one of you plebs crawling out of the woodwork,

Resolution != quality, in fact, resolution without adequate bitrate can significantly reduce percieved quality.

what does a movie's release date have to do with streaming? All movies from 1900s to 2016 can be watched non-stream.
>>
I think OP is just asking for another alternative to Genesis for Kodi so he doesn't have to download torrents

I get what you mean, in layman's term, size does not equal crispiness. Resolution, bitrate, and codec are separate.

But in general, the higher the resolution, the higher the bitrate. Standard resolution are usually 1,000 Kbps.
720p movies are usually 2500 Kbps
1080p movies are usually 4000 Kbps

If you notice, YIFY's 1080p's has a higher bitrate than their 720p's.

which is, Resolution != quality

Size (resolution) != quality (bitrate or crispiness)

retards.

Yes, that's what I have observed. I know that
>bitrate (1000 Kbps, 2500 Kbps)
>resolution (450p, 720p, 1080p)
>codec (XviD, x264)
>container (.avi, .mp4, .mkv)

are four separate things that you can mix and match.

And I know that you can make a 1080p movie with a 500 Kbps bitrate, but rippers (people) usually increase their bitrate along with the resolution, because people aren't retarded.

As I have observed, YIFY,s 720p has 2K Kbps, and their 1080p has around 4K Kbps. And other ripper groups follow the same pattern.
