Spoiler alert: there's more than eight.
>>
>>64572889
were there? more than 8 in total but I'm pretty sure there were 8 main characters
>>
There were Eight Hatefuls in the cabin including Channing Tatum and then O.B. who wasn't all that hateful, so he didn't count towards the eight.
>>
>>64574007
O.B didn't deserve it tbqh
>>
>>64574007
Channing Tatum is the ninth hateful.
>>
>Bounty Hunter
>Bitch
>Major Nigger
>Hillbilly
>His Son Sucked Black Dick
>Hangman
>Goes Home To Visit Mama
>Senor Bob
>OB

There's nine the whole fucking time. Not counting Channing Tatum
>>
>>64575450
O.B. isn't hateful.
>>
>>64572889
>>64575450
OB isn't 'hateful'

The guy under the floorboards is the twist ninth.
>>
Just watched this movie, honestly one of the greatest movies i've seen

the long dialogue at the beginning really works the story without guns

then the shooting is so satisfying

and the end

the symbolic crumpling of the fake lincoln letter, showing that, even without that letter to disarm the white man, the black man was not in danger of the white guy killing him because he was a Rebel fighter, but instead he was guarded by who he was as a man, by his own valor and morals.

the ending of them laying there, the two least likely friends, but two good men, emerging victorious, was symbolically one of the greatest movie moments ever.
>>
>>64572889
The driver doesn't count
>>
>>64572889
all of the dialogue in this movie consisted of character introduction after character introduction, and half the characters get like 4 introductions.

"I'm Marquis Warren" "You heard of him?" "Yeah i heard of Marquis Warren! He's [backstory]"

repeat for 3 hours but shoot in between intros the last hour
>>
>>64576274
but not alot of that was true, and thats how it would work, it seemed like a real encounter and not just easy plot telling
>>
Sheriff dude wasn't hateful at all so he doesn't count alongside O.B.
>>
>>64576274
9 people in the cabin means 45 possible introductions
>>
>>64576331
I have no idea what youre trying to say. But whether or not it was true doesn't matter, the structure is so god damn repetitive. You're already in one location for 2 hours so it doesn't help to have repetitive dialogue.
>>
>>64576173
Chapter 3 verse 17 was GOAT
>>
adding on to >>64576382

look at 12 angry men, that movie doesn't feel repetitive at all because its not intro after intro
>>
>>64576416
I didn't find either of them repetitive.

>>
What the fuck was with those narration bits those were horrible.

Also the scenes of the wagons arriving at minnies and the music that was playing were pretty dope desu
>>
>>64576416
>>64576382
What I'm saying is that in real life, this is how the situation would go down, especially in the old days

it was all about "Hi, im ____ and I do _____"

The bounty hunter and the nigger had even met and ate dinner together before and they were not 100% known friends, its because every meeting was a formality and then you were on your way
>>
OB and Dom weren't doing what they did over the course of the film out of hate
>>
>>64576617

Reasons why they aren't hateful

>Bounty Hunter- has morals to hang people not just kill them
>Bitch- is captured and essentially dead, struggling for her life with
>Major Nigger- trusted the Hillbilly, kept hanging morals
>Hillbilly- befriended the nigger, kept hanging morals
>His Son Sucked Black Dick- forced into situation, mourning over dead son
>Hangman- his "justice vs frontier justice" speech (so good btw)
>Goes Home To Visit Mama- he really did wish he could visit his mama on christmas
>Senor Bob- misses tacos
>OB- killed just doing his job innocently
>>
>>64576894
The four gangsters were cold blooded murderers. The General hated black people, and Major Warren hated him for it. The only people arguably not hateful were the hangman, the hillbilly, and OB (not one of the eight)

Was there a more satisfying death in 2015?
>>
>>64577737
nope
>>
>>64577737
no
>>

seemed pretty pissed at the cowboy, and then at Major Nigger for killing 47 men

tom hardy in the revenant
>>
>>64577213
the hillbilly was part of a renegade group that raped and murdered during the Civil War

By the hangman you mean Russell or Roth? Russell is an asshole to everyone in the cabin before, granted, he was doing it to protect himself from anyone in cahoots with Domergue but he didn't have to be an asshole about it. For instance how he assaults the mamma's boy, not entirely wrong but unlikable still.

Roth was a bandit.

OB did nothing wrong.

Tatum's head being blown off

What was the point of that scene at the beginning... With Daisy smiling, winking, and licking her lips at Sam Jackson's character? She even starts almost giving the big brown pole next to her a handjob. Why'd QT stay in her for two more minutes so we could see her do that after she got her nose broken?
>>
>>64578229

Even racists want a taste of bbc
>>
I liked it more than Django and Basterds, is my taste better than the critics'?
>>
>>64578436
Yes. Fuck the haters, this is cuckatinos best in a long while
>>
>>64576173
There's a big disconnect in there with hillbilly though. He defends the general for half an hour then the moment he dies he becomes all pally with Warren. You don't even get to see his reaction.

>tfw O.B. died
>>
>>64578436

Yeah it's his best since Jackie Brown tbqh
>>
>>64578521

I think he lost a lot of respect for him after being goaded into trying to shoot Warren.
>>
>>64578229
Tarantino was just padding it out so he could cut to the carriage at the right point of the song.
>>
>>64578584
Maybe, but like I said you don't get to see how anyone reacts to that situation. It's like they're not even there when the conversation is taking place.
>>
>>64578521
They don't become best of friends. They don't become pally. After the general dies, Kurt and OB die. Then, they form a partnership out of necessity because neither of them poisoned the coffee.
They don't suddenly just become friends.
>>
Bob's stew looked good af tbqh
>>
>>64572889
Hateful Eight is a reference to it being Tarantino's 8th movie.

He was just a nice guy doing his job.

It looked so painful too.
>>
>>64578649
it wasn't Bob's, it was Minnie's
>>
>>64578584
this, he could've been angry but in the end I think he understood that ultimately it was genuinely done in self defense, albeit with provocation.
>>
>>64578067
I didn't think the hillbilly was part of the group. He speaks about the marauders as a separate group
>my father led over 400 men, fighting for a lost cause, and THEY followed him [other stuff]

>>64578229
It showed that she wasn't worried about her situation
>>
>>64578889
"I don't drink with rebel renegades and I damn sure as hell don't break bread with them."

"Wrapped yourselves up in a rebel flag as an excuse to kill and steal."

Granted, Mannix says it's all made up by Washington,
>>
>>64576173
I honestly don't know why this movie wasn't as well received as Django.
>>
>>64576894
I found it neat that the hangman said that the only difference between justice and frontier justice was the punishment being carried out by a neutral party. Then, at the end of the movie, two individuals that had nothing to do with the ambush at the cabin (Samuel L, and the hillbilly sheriff) ended up hanging the crazy bitch. Idk you probably already knew that but I thought it was clever and really tied the main theme of the story together.
>>
>>64579223
ye, FARTO really improved the last act from what he had originally written in the leaked draft
>>
>>64579278
what was the original ending? also that's the least funny meme i've ever seen.
>>
>>64579287
Basically it went like this
>shootout
>everyone dies
>the end
>>
>>64576173
>black man rapes guy for a minute
>one of the greatest movies
>>
>>64579317
Dare I say, is The Hateful Eight a Tarantino pleb filter, much like Jackie Browne? I saw it with my parents and while my dad loved it my mom complained about:
>muh slow pace
>muh one dimensional script (not true btw)
>muh overly long dialogue
>>
>>64579350
>white men rape blacks for 400 years
>perfectly fine

>black man rapes white for 40 seconds
>atrocity
lol

What does that have anything to do with his post? Can you even read?

Also, yes, if someone rapes and tortures your son to death, murder is a reasonable response.

Because the reaction after is irrelevant you fucking retard.

>Also, yes, if someone rapes and tortures your son to death, murder is a reasonable response.

Yes because murdering someone let alone doing it when there is zero evidence of the major telling the truth is always the right thing to do especially since a few minutes earlier John Ruth stated "you cant trust you people".
How about you watch the film a second time instead of texting away to you faggot twink bf at the talking parts
