Despite it's shortcomings, I just can't hate the LotR trilogy. Fellowship might be one of the comfiest movies of all time. Fuck Jackson and his producers for ruining the Hobbit movies for a quick buck.

The only shortcomings are in its changes to the characters. If you look at it as a seperate vision of the overall story its plain god tier. I should watch the extended editions again.
