Can we have an intelligent discussion on this movie without memes?
Did he do it? Or was it all in his head?
>>64511295
No.
it was all in he's head !!!
waow!
some he killed, some were in his head
if dubs he did it
Brad Pitt was Ed Norton the whole fucking time woooaaahhh
haha the pointing man meme!
>>64511295
>Can we have an intelligent discussion
helloooooo reddit!Whether he actually did it or not doesn't matter, the film was about Batman not his victims and he believes that he did it
>>64511295
Everything was real except the sequence near the end where he tried to feed a cat to the atm
who the fuck cares if he did or he didnt he was american psycho
>>64511295
the entire point is that the question you're asking is irrelevant you thick fuck
>>64511295
>Did he do it? Or was it all in his head?
The confusion is the point. Also you should just read the book instead, the film adds little aside from Bale's acting.
>>64511411
oh baby
>>64511441
sorry bro those are singles heh
Ellis confirmed it was all in his head in Lunar Park.
>>64511587
>author's intent matters

>>64511295
If dubs Bateman did it
>I'm just a happy camper. ROCKIN' N' ROLLIN'!
What did dubsguy mean by this?
>>64511868
It matters more than anyone's interpretation
Who had the best card?
>>64513030
Absolutely definitely not.
Whether he did or not is entirely irrelevant to the the point that this movie was a critique of 80s yuppie culture
>>64511295
not without these dubs
>>64511295
He did some but not all.
>>64513321
>2016
>not miring Mergers and Acquisition
ginger twat, pls go
>>64511295
The film felt extremely unfinished, probably because they couldn't translate Ellis's commentary on Bateman's mental state in the last like 70 pages of the book.
He basically comes soul-crushingly close to feeling empathy but fucks it up at the last second. Movie doesn't show any of that. All we got was 'le crazy christian bale xD' and the 'DUDE NOTHING' monologue
>>64511295
He did everything. Nothing is his imagination.
Society don't gave a damn and got rid of his crimes for him without ever care.
>>64511295
It's as real as these >>64511411 dubs.
>>64511295
Real except for cop chase scene (written in 3rd person view in the book.)
>>64514485
The movie's better than book without a doubt.
>Did he do it? Or was it all in his head?
Doesn't matter, the point is everyone around him stays indifferent towards his actions or is just like him so he is stuck in his own personal hell. Book points toward him making most of it up however
Do you like Patrick Bateman and the Dubs?
>>64511295
I think this meme is very impressive.
What Yale thing?
