It is also unfair that Europe gets singled out as a separate continent when on Eurasia it is only one of at least 4 major cultural regions along with the Muslim world, India and East Asia. The whole plot (other than that awful Greek bullshit) was about what a gigantic twat the lead coder was and Lisa trying to keep her app from being sold by the greedy feminazis. Their treatment of comic book guy, the treatment of the males in the coding class, forcing Lisa to wear the "edgy" look and fit in, all of their actions were portrayed as negative and bitchy. Tell me you honestly didn't realize all the "gurl power" shit was tongue in cheek

It's telling that the stance they took at the end was effectively "police yourself so you don't offend people", as opposed to "learn to take a fucking joke".
Really, their own plotting betrays them, as Burns being oh so offended that he fires Homer is meant to be funny because of his overreaction to something so innocuous, which we are then told to not do in order to appease people like Burns.
