By some mystical incantation, you are put in charge of the James Bond franchise. Anything you say goes. What do you do? Do another movie with Craig? New actor? Where do you go?
>>64447825
Black, strong woman as Bond.
The film is set in Saudi Arabia, where women are kidnapped and sold in the black market as sex slaves.
Bond must free the women and end the male dominance in the country.
>>64447825
Aidan Gillen is the new Bond
Tom Hardy is the bad guy
>>64447825
>New actor
Clive Owen
>Where do you go?
Set in Japan, bond fights the Yakuza with the help of a sassy black woman sidekick and a robotic wolf named Tibbles.
black male bond
three blonde white love interests
Bad guy is a white male
Bond has become morbidly obeese black and gay.
The main bad guy played by some twink intends to pump horomones into the food supply in order to pacify the populace. And take over via politics
>>64447825
Female Bond, still the same character in regards to how she treats other women.
Michael Fassbender as Bond
Christina Hendricks and Amy Adams as Bond girls
Oscar Isaac as the villain a la LTK
NO personal connection bullshit.
>>64447825
New Actor
Retro Bond, set in the 60's again.
Bring back the Cold War.
Up the amount of Spy gadgets to a silly level.
Make it stylistic as fuck.
>>64447825
I focus on an episodic production being faithful to Ian Fleming.
Set in the cold war, where Bond is just a cool hearted hitman that works for the west.
Maybe a tv series with limited episodes (NOT with seasons and neverending shit). Maybe like five 30 min episodes.
>>64448014
>Clive Owen
I like you.
>>64448401
Mission Impossible filled the "cool gadgets" niche. Bond can't beat that anymore. Now it's just le sophisticated and calculated action movies for sophisticated and calculated people. No grit. No fun. This series is dead in my eyes. At least Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace had fun with it. Skyfall and Spectre are trash.
>>64448371
Now that I think about the Mad Men connection, John Slattery would also make an amazing Bond villain.
>>64447825
I'd love to go back to the cold war
But if I was handed the reigns to the sony franchise right now I'd put Moneypenny in as the deurotagonist since Naomie Harris has been the best actress other than Dench in the Bond movies. Sidelining her is faithful to the character but otherwise retarded
Cast him as black. Seriously, not even being SJW here, but it is a huge untapped market. Whites would watch it because of guilt and blacks would see their first Bond flick. It just makes economical sense.
>>64447825
Craig forever. But only Casino Royale worth something. The others stinks to arse.
there needs to be a bond boy
Adam Driver as Bond
Daisy Ridley as bond girl
Carrie Fischer as M
Mark Hamill as Q
>>64448371
i like oscar isaac villain.
Clive Owen as an aging Bond they pull out of retirement because most of the double 0 agents got assassinated.
All the new tech stuff got compromised and it's back to basics.
Mark Strong as the main badguy who wants to disrupt global communications in an effort to stop and reverse globalization.
Idris Elba as his right hand man.
Jessica Chastain as the Bond girl.
Bond doesn't win this one.
Guy Ritchie directs.
Quips and a totally self contained story. Set across western europe with a renaissance vibe to class it up and a huge, insanely contrived set for the finale. Craig can stay if he slims down and develops comic timing, they've totally wasted him so far. But he probably has to go.
In the movie, Bond kills people, fucks people, makes bad jokes about everything and no-one really likes him. Daniel Day Lewis plays the main (American) villain, Benecio del Toro plays his equally evil rival and Bray Wyatt has a small role as an overacting henchman. Supporting cast of established British and French actors. Old world vs new world theme, starts with a shot of a Da Vinci painting, ends with a pun about fisting.
>>64447825
>By some mystical incantation, you are put in charge of the James Bond franchise. Anything you say goes. What do you do?
I sell the rights to Disney for half of what they're worth (maybe $100 million?), retire, and live the rest of my life in comfort.
>>64447969
kill yourself
>>64447986
The entire movie takes place on an airplane
I'd ask my father what his favorite parts about his favorite bond movies are and then work with that.
I saw Spectre with him and I genuinely got a little depressed from how disappointed and saddened he was by it. The dude's been a casual lover of 007 movies his whole life and doesn't see anything that brought him to those movies in the Craig ones. I think he deserves to see the Bond he grew up with again at least one more time.
The Spy Who Came In From The Cold meets Bourne close quarter fight scenes.
Tom Hardy in Warrior mode
>>64450046
I honestly don't get the notion that newer media somehow ruins the media that came before.
I mean, sure, he's disappointed in the series he loved, but the old movies will always be there, they'll always be as good as he remembers themor as bad as he remembers them.
If you think he deserves to see the Bond he grew up with then buy him the Blu-Ray collection.
>>64450250
I'm not saying that the craig movies 'ruin' the older ones, it's just that it's clear he'd enjoy being able to see something in the style of the older movies that he hasn't already watched 3,000 times.
>>64448551
nigger
>>64448607
agree except QoS was decent if you consider it as as an immediate sequel to CR and less of standalone. I really liked it. Skyfall and Spectre were shit though.
>>64450418
It was a sequel mate. It was considered a quadrilogy by the director, though the movies came out so slowly and was not advertised as sequels I had no fucking idea it was all connected till spectre
>>64449834
actually... isn't a bad idea.
the bond movies has literally every action piece imaginable, imagine turn the page and create something similar to die hard in a plane.
a big villain try to steal a weapon out something and crash the plane with no survivors, bond fight for his life for two hours without cars or women's against elite soldiers.
real infiltration spy movie.
make adam driver james bond and also me as the bond girl also it's just one long extended sex scene
>>64450513
All tech and weapons is procure on site.
We might be onto something anon
>>64448401
Yes. 60's throwback is a must.
>>64448512
Great opinion. I loved CR and QoS but Skyfall and Spectre.
>I am the evil guy. Look at me. All these other better bad guys were basically me.
No stfu.
Quantum was menacing as fuck and scary because it was a bunch of wealthy and influential people saying "fuck it, lets run politics, the economy, and the earth's resources for our own gain" but there was something so mysterious about them. Mr. White was a great character andway fucking better than Franz Oberhauser
>>64450479
No. Sorry anon but QoS was the true successor to CR. It was never planned to be a quadrilogy but they just shoehorned in Blofeld controlling everyone which is why it felt so forced and shitty and thats ignoring the massive inconsistencies if that was the case.
>>64450631
*Skyfall and Spectre are shit
Henry Cavill as James
Alicia Vikander bond girl
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau main villain
Stellan SkarsgÄrd as M
kingslayer guy is an obscure internationalist pseudo cia operative that uses american government intelligence to help the cartels and uses delta forces as muscle. him and bond meet eachother in herefordshire on a nato exercise where kingslayer brags about it, bond tells on him and bonds boss already knows about it and doesnt give a single fuck. bond takes a vacation, goes on a rampage and ends up being chased by cartels, american special forces, american cia operatives and mexican corrupt cops
1st act is the exercise in herefordshire, then an office scene with his boss shouting at him in typical british manner, 2nd act in mexico where he tries to do a little digging and find information, and a 3rd act in some upper class villa in the alps where he confronts the villain and has a shoot out with him and his henchmen
007 phantom
the world is close to a WW3.
a invented country in the middle east is blocking the commerce routes for oil, breaking a important international trade.
bond is a new white male British actor(40 years or more), is send with a American spy novice(30 years or less) to negotiate as false councils.
they discover a secret army and a secret union of countries who planned the world domination.
they are discover and escape intro the country, the country lived a war between two different muslin ethics, one of the ethics control's the government, the secret army invade the country and bond and the American spy encounter a Muslim(the non governed) who guide both to his town, then to the capital to rescue the president(a young woman) then escape in a plane to Europe, they crash in a weird European country and discover a genius boy who work with WW2 old tech, using olds planes the boy repair the plane and they go to UK and get the boy to train as a new 00 agent.
before fly are attacked by a mysterious assassin send to kill the president, 007 almost BTFO but they escape.
in the UK, M rejects train the boy, the boy as seen much death and horrors in his country, and all the traumas will do he becomes a unstable agent.

This but get more money out of the sale. Does anyone still care about making James Bond films?
>craig
>bond
>>64447825
So I have full control and pre-approved budget?
>back to the '60s
>clear retcon so "James Bond" is explicitly just a codename
>the attitudes of the characters, their interactions etc are all Moore-era
>the action is all Craig-era, except even more violent
>there's a Russian Bond Girl called Aminta Buttstuv
>an American one called Fellatia Burgers
>we open on Bond being refused an expense claim for private VD treatment
As long as there's that, the plot doesn't really matter.
Fassbender as Bond without a doubt, fuck you Idris Ebola cucks.
>>64453332
>>clear retcon so "James Bond" is explicitly just a codename
get the fuck out of here, Cracked.
Michael Fassbender as Bond
Oscar Isaac as villain
Jessica Chastain and Melanie Laurent as Bond girls
Plot is about Shangai underworld and a terrorist plot
David Bowie for opening theme
James Mangold to direct
Thank me later
I'd basically make Spy
Yes, Melissa McCarthy as Bond
>>64447825
New actor. Not sure who, but someone younger than Craig, in their mid to late thirties. I'd want him to be from the UK, and white. I don't think I'd want to go with someone well known or established.
It would be set in the 1960's. We'd be taking our inspiration from those early Connery Bonds, particularly From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. For the story, we do something original but familiar enough.
>>64453332
>an American one called Fellatia Burgers
I must admit, I kek'd.
Literal Mary Sue
>>64454570
I'd buy this.
>>64448772
Yes.
>>64454570
Mangold only because Rian Johnson's stuck in Star Wars until the end of time, or Mangold because it's Mangold?
Set in 1980s right as the US and USSR are starting to get along better, but tensions run strong. Anything could set off the powder keg.
Bond played by Clive Owen or the dude that plays Jaime Lannister on game of thrones.
Villain 1 - Robbie Williams, a club scene drug baron who has his finger on the pulse of pop culture and money to invest in evil enterprise.
Villain 2/Bond Girl - Kate Beckinsdale as the scorned orphan princess of a eastern european country with more weapons than sense, poised to either go out swinging vs USSR or roll over and die out.
Bond Girl 2 - Jaimie Alexander a US operative who has been trying to track down Robbie Williams to put an end to his drug regime.
Make the movie PG-13 according to 1980s standards, so more of an R today. Inevitably have to edit it down a bit to make it into theaters, but instead of just airing the PG-13 version, have the unrated version also play (effectively release it as the IMAX version) so you can take the kiddos to see it PG-13, but if you want to see the real version, its there too.
Drugs, Cold War drama, Oil Sheikhs, arms smuggling and making the UK and US fall guys to tank trade agreements and make money. Just so happens they get to blow up some competitors to make it happen.
Proper James Bond intro music
Billy Connolly as Q.
Epic car chase against tanks vs the Aston Martin as he holds of some rebel forces until the Bond Girl can get an Air Strike off the ground. Maybe a shot like Pic Related
>Benedict Cucumberbad as Bond
>Will Ferrel as villain "Mr.Clonk"
>Entire movie shot inside a mall at black friday
>>64447969
Sounds good
>>64447986
I think Gillen would make for a better bond villain
Flamboyant rogue CIA operative flying around in his plane fortress
Bond played by Hardy must crash his flight plan of death
>>64448371
Give this anon the mula
Definitely one more with Craig before he's too old
>>64447825
I cancel it all and allocate the money to more Marvel movies.
