That's not true, because not everyone thinks the same way as you. I know it's hard to fathom, but not everyone conforms to your internet definitions. We use books/literature/writing to refer to writen works, and film/cinema/flix/movies to visual works. It's just a reality. Any differentiations are your personal interpretation, and isn't shared by the entire culture.
