Been super depressed this past week or so and as such ive been taking oxy and watching trainspotting on a daily bases. You guys have any movies that you feel hit close to home when you are a sad boy?

I don't do drugs to get attention, I do drugs because for me life gets to a point where I become so overwhelmed with everything that I need to shut off for a bit. Only mentioned the oxy because it, combined with Trainspotting, is what is hitting close to home right now.

When you become an adult you try and keep it on the downlow when you're out and about until you're absolutely sure the stranger you're talking to is as much of a deviate as you. I'm self conscious about my drug use.

Im not sure if he goes back to heroin or not, obviously being an addict it is possible. However after fucking over Sick Boy and Begsby I think it might be hard for him to go back to his hometown- assuming they arent in prison. I have not read Porno but I know that they are making the sequel to trainspotting soon. It will be set 20 years past Trainspotting and I have some faith in it because of all the iterations its gone through due to the original cast rejecting them as they felt they were not up to snuff.

I'm 21 and im afraid people will find my drug use to be immature even though I dont think it is immature. People are so fucking pressed into following societal norms that any deviation makes you a lesser being- like if you dont get a fucking car, house, and two kids you aren't a real person.

Not many now. Cocaine occasionally but it's ridiculously over priced. I don't mind speed but I had a psychotic episode on it once. I'll always love ecstasy but I hardly ever get ahold of it any more and when I do it seems like it's fuck all MDMA. Luckily dodged a bullet with the meth craze and never went hard on it. I wouldn't worry at 21, drug use isn't considered immature at that point, I was going hard as fuck back then. Although considering I'm a 31 year old man who lives alone and is spending his Saturday night on 4chan perhaps that should be taken as a cautionary tale. Now most of the people I did drugs with have moved on and have families, careers, etc. The ones who didn't move on I lost contact with as they died or destroyed their lives. I'm seemingly stuck halfway between. Not so far gone that my life is over, but not on track enough to be content and functional.

Aging itself doesn't really scare me although aside from some unhealthy vices I lead a pretty healthy life and don't look so bad for my age.
I'm more afraid of the uncertainty of the future and waking up realizing I haven't achieved anything I wanted to and suddenly it's become to late to do so.
