Just got out of the theatre. I liked it. I don't know why Minnie didn't notice Bob was Mexican in the "Earlier that day" scene, but not a big deal. Good movie!
>>
The Jelly Beans were too damn high up.

Also, you have to grinding the worlds best coffee beans by hand would have taken longer.

I guess he had his face covered most of the time and didn't have diistinctive mexican features.
>>
I haven't seen it, but I'm assuming the same problem with all QT movies which is long, drawn out dialogue which is entirely pointless to the story, plot development, or character development.

Ya, dingus
>>
It is a little slow in the beginning and near the very end.

Also, did anyone get a serious The Thing vibe? I just saw it and I noticed a few things
>Kurt Russel
>Moody snow scenes
>Features several people in a winter location who are distrustful of each other
>Vomiting blood
>The ending

Is this intentional?

Yeah, I don't think he said anything directly to Minnie either, so it wasn't obvious. Like I said, not really a big deal to the movie

its only been shown at 100 theatres so far so its actually doing very well. it gets its wide release this weekend which by based off limited release numbers will do great
>>
Some of the slow motion was misplaced. there was an extra 2 minutes of waiting for everyone in the haberdashery to die. the negotiation was overly long.
the big black dingus part and the very end were both hilarious and good, the second negotiation into the carriage scene was superfluous. pretty good movie solid 7.

The song bestiality was unused in the movie thing but used in this movie. It was influenced by it.

The Hateful Eight (2015), according to Quentin Tarantino, was his metaphoric way of breaking down his feelings about The Thing (1982), i.e. the way he felt watching it for the first time in a movie theater.

>>
>>64336975

I didn't like the movie that much, it's probably Quentin's worst.

But shut your whore mouth about 70mm film until you see it for yourself. You'd think the big, sweeping outdoor scenes would have been the best but honestly the closeups were my favorite.

The dingus scene was easily the best in the movie. A lot of wide outdoor shots inter-spliced between close-ups of faces and fingers playing a piano.

BIG BLACK DINGUS
>>
>>64333623
1) it's boring
2) it's too long
3) none of the characters are good
4) >shot in 70mm, the whole thing takes place in a cabin
5) terrible dialogue
6) nothing happens for 1 hour and 38 minutes
7) too much talking
