What the hell is so good about Lubezki. Deakins' shots always look slick as hell, while the other guy is just a spic.
He probably won't win this year, but he's working with Villeneuve again on the Blade Runner sequel. Don't lose hope yet.

He directs movies. Just look at Prisoners and Sicario, all Deakins - Skyfall again covering up for trash director.
And his regular output is pretty boring at this point.
