This movie is more patrician than people think. This and Freddy Got Fingered were real comedies of their times, turning comedy upside down from irony, to make an entirely new form of it. It helped pioneer the "so-bad-its-good" genre, and while many cannot imitate the style, it should very well be respected for it's genius work.
