When I was younger I used to think the older episodes were boring and the newer ones were funnier.
But now I really can't find any of it funny. I guess it's just the kind of thing you grow out off by the end of high school or so.

You need a decent amount of film knowledge to get the obscure references they throw out at you. I just think people dislike the silly plots which most of the time are just there as a vessel for the jokes. I mean it's 21 minutes of jokes and nothing more. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. The last 2-3 seasons have been rather bland though.
