So about that themesong...
You guys here the Radiohead song, that didn't make the cut?

While I'm not crazy about it, it's still leaps and bounds better than that shit Sam Smith took in the recording booth.

sams song is okay in the context of the film and the title sequence. On it's own it's not that good.
reminder that daniel craig is an illegitimate bond

It's just so overwrought, the Radiohead song seems even less energetic than "Writing on the wall", but I don't know it feels more fitting to a Bond movie.
>craig
>bond

I like it more than on the wall and on its own but I don't think it is much better for the title sequence. I just wanted something with energy/escalation and no high pitched vocals. The 2nd half of the movie sucked so it doesn't really matter anymore.

It's a serious contender for the worst bond theme

I've always thought Portishead would do a good job at a Bond theme.
Radiohead's wasn't soulless and generic enough to fit Spectre.

Well of course it fits better, the title sequence is tailored to Sam's song.
But it's a hell of a lot more melodic and almost hypnotic in nature.
But really, they need to stop this shit and put a more high energy number in the title sequence.
Even the early ballads like For your eyes only, had more drive than either song.
Spectre really is the Bond movie where everything went wrong
>shitty title song
>shitty opening sequence too
>terrible story
>groanworthy dialogue
>meh action scenes
>Craig on auto pilot for most of the film
>annoying Bond girl
>wasted supporting cast
>manages to be too long yet simultaneously feel rushed
It's like everything that they pulled off in Skyfall, failed this time around.
Am I the only one who didn't hate the Spectre theme? Granted, I fucking hate Sam Smith with a passion, but I was getting serious shivers up my spine during the title sequence. It was a genuinely fitting song.
Seeing bits of Casino Royale on TV at my parents' is making me want to rewatch the Daniel Craig films thus far, to be honest...

I'm not a Radiohead fan by any means, but Spectre is a much better song than Writing's On The Wall. I got chills listening to it and the orchestra makes it quite haunting at times.
