DId anyone here watch this?
Opinions?
It was good, but they really botched the climax of the story. It's all supposed to lead up to Macbeth bursting forth from his throne room in full armor wearing his crown and fighting his way to the gate where he faces MacDuff

The scenery was great, but overall it was kinda lacking something.
The actors were great tho.
Also expected Macbeth's wife to have more scenes leading to her insanity like in the play.

Pleb here
I'm looking forward to it and I don't know a thing about Macbeth

Wait, they didn't put that scene in? What the hell were they thinking, butchering the climax like that?
polanski's version still superior

It was great. I dont get why almost every critic creams their pants over Cotillard, I thought she was average at the best. Im not a native english speaker so this was a pretty hard movie to watch and when Cotillard talked I heard the words she was saying but I couldnt understand her. The stylization of the 2 fights, the grimy and interestingly cut intro and the red/orange one were amazing
great soundtrack
8/10 movie. as some anon said earlier, it lacked something. i can't put my finger on it.
