Reminder that Grievous' origins involved slaying thousands of these things, saving his people from slavery, before the bugs called for the Republic to help them. The Republic then put sanctions and reparations on Grievous' people, sending them into economic hell, leaving Grievous to watch his own family and people slowly die off of starvation.

In TCW TV show they had an episode taking place in the lair of Grievous, and he had a bunch of statues depicting what I'd assume was him and some of the warriors he fought with during those times.
Same styled masks and clothing. So it's kinda implied to still be canon in some form since TCW is canon.
