Should i see the H8teful Eight or the Revenant tomorrow?
Revenant. H8ful 8 is a borefest.
They're both good movies but the Revenant is much much better.

both are worth seeing, but i would recommend hateful eight over revenant, even if visually it is so far superior to h8ful 8 its not even funny. Masterclass cinematography is there to mask just how really empty the movie is, its just very simple survival thriller that is nicely shot and has AAAAAA production values, but i was started to get bored during final act.
H8ful 8 is almost 3 hours long and i was entertained from start to finish, not once i was bored, tarantulo uses dialogue to do so many things its insane. These two movies are proof that tarantino is way better director than inaritu

Revenant made me really come to grips with the knowledge that, if I were presented with the same situations this guy was presented with, I would do the same as he would. Anything. I would do anything to survive. Regardless of his motivations about his son, I would absolutely tackle the shit he did in the effort to keep living. Not saying I would survive, or anything, I'm just saying that I would dig deep down inside myself like he did, and do whatever it took.

If you liked Kill Bill, Inglorious, you'll like this one, if you have your mind set that Tarantino is the biggest hack then don't bother. Revenant is also pretty fucking solid, and cinematography and direction alone is worth watching.

Reservoir Dogs is second in line. Pulp Fiction, honestly, bores me to tears if I try to re-watch it now. It was my favorite movie when I was 12, it was certainly his most influential movie, but it's honestly just an empty exercise in style

I watched Revenant followed by H8fulB8. I recommend watching 8 first, then Revenant, because 8 will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
