The prequels are worse movies than TFA but also have more artistic integrity since they are the uncompromised work of a singular auteur rather than calculated focus grouped fan service.
The prequels didn't make any concessions towards being "liked" which is why they are closer to real cinema than JJ's fascimile, even in their incompetence.
