Nope. She worked for a tyrant for god knows how long, got her truck stolen, fucked up the deal with the canyon bikers, got one of her charges killed, and ended up leading them to more barren wasteland instead of the green utopia she promised.

every one of her ideas was stupid and she didn't have the skill at all to make them work, that's where max came in. if she was twisted to be a mary sue, then max would have had to been made a bumbling idiot like finn. if anything, max is the male mary sue in this movie, except anything he does feels in tune with the fantasy of the setting and allows full suspension of disbelief
