Should I go see Star Wars or hateful eight on Christmas this year, /tv/? My 5th or 6th day off this year and alsomy birthday. Or I could stay home and play video games all day like I normally do on my days off.
And yes, I'm your typical /tv/ loser with no friends so I will be going alone.
Both

mine is the 26th so I feel you bro, happy birthday in advance.
I'm not a big fan of screeners either but they arent too bad if you're desperate. I just meant you have the option to watch that one at home so go watch Star Wars in the theatre.

Saw both last weekend:
SW TFA - 9.5/10 (See ASAP)
H8 - 2/10 (Don't bother, ever)

Don't bother to see The Memeful Meme.

Happy birthday OP.
Star Wars is worth seeing in the cinema, especially in IMAX if you get the chance.
For all the wanking that goes on about Quentin "70mm" Tarantino, I thought Dan Mindel's work on Star Wars blew Tarantino's H8 away.
All the entry-level film snobs and neckbearded beta "cinephiles" will flock to Quentin's movie (as per usual), but it's not nearly as well photographed. They'll claim it was, but that's because they're plebs in disguise.

I will probably go see Star Wars, in imax. I would probably go see hateful or even heart of the sea (was planning to see that last week before Star Wars came out but forgot) if those were in imax but sadly they aren't.

Two Wild West films in a row, Tarantino? What the fuck?
