Some people want to see her get culturally enriched by Finn despite evidence that she only sees him as a friend. Maybe she has potential chemistry with Poe, but her and Poe never really met in the movie. It's as if they deliberately avoided having the two of them interact in the first film.
It's actually somewhat possible that she will end up with Poe, though. Everyone was sure that Luke and Leia were an item in Episode IV, then they introduced a love triangle in Episode V, and in Return of the Jedi the Luke / Leia ship got completely torpedoed forever.
If they really are borrowing beats from the OT's songbook, then there will be hints of a budding romance in the first movie, which in the second movie turn out to be a red herring and then the real romantic interest unfolds.
