How can one character be so fucking BASED in a clusterfuck of a film. Why is he a better written and acted character then all the new characters in TFA combined?
He's only based because he's Liam Neeson. Like how Ewan McGregor made Obi Wan likable even though neither of them had decent lines.

Quai-Gon had this morally ambiguous, troublemaker attitude fist was really interesting. I never realized it until I read the novelization (I was in high school, forgive me).
It's a shame he couldn't be better fleshed out in a better movie.

It's too bad Qui-Gon was fucking useless.
Obi-Wan specifically told Luke that he had taken it upon himself to train Luke. He had no fucking purpose in TPM, he should have taken every role Qui-Gon had.
Qui-Gon is great, Liam Neeson is great, but we didn't fucking need them.
