Every year or so I flipflop on which is better. Right now, purely on the strength of Arnold and Pamela's performances, I'm leaning toward Terminator 2.

Terminator.
1 has some minor issues, and 2 is more entertaining.
But 1 is my movie of choice, simply because the overall plotline isn't one massive plothole. Cameron clearly has no idea how time travel should work, and 1 was a total fluke in that everything follows a logical progression.
2 ruined all of that by saying the past could be altered. 1 is a movie, 2 is a pure flick. One of the best flicks ever made, but it's still a flick. It can't really compete with a movie.
terminator 1 is the better film, t2 is cool though.
1 = nightcore classic
2 = edward furlong cringe
