These seem like the kinda flashy tone deaf posters an idiotic flailing company like Sony would release. What made the original so great was how rag tag and not glossy they were. From what I've heard from the leaks, from scripts to e-mails about production, Sony aimed to make things more high tech in this stupid reboot. That defeats much of the charm of the original films.

This. As a lifelong GB fan I am just ashamed to even associate myself with it anymore. I always had it listed as my favorite movie, but now I'll have to put in an asterisk and explain how I mean the original one and not this shitty one. It's easier just to take it off the list entirely and pretend I never heard of the series. It's a sad day.
