Was it just me or does Finn get knocked over on his ass an inordinate amount of times in the movie? He seemingly spends half his screen time getting up off the ground.
I can think of six nonconsecutive occasions (probably missing some) he had to pick himself up, or have someone pick him up, after getting knocked down.
They should call him Chumbawamba.

It's a poetic device telling us that no matter how much African-Americans try, the system knocks them on their ass and stop them from succeeding

To bad nobody finnishes him off
Haven't seen the movie yet but, by chance, does he sag his pants like most young blacks?
If so, there's your answer. I mean, them niggas can hardly walk normal with their pants like that so it wouldn't surprise me that they would fall on the ground regularly.

>They should call him Chumbawamba.
That doesn't make any sense.

>It's a poetic device telling us that no matter how much African-Americans try
>how much African-Americans try
>African-Americans try
LOL, I don't think the words "African-American" and "try" go together very well.

I think he meant "Tubthumper" (by Chumbawamba), which is the old song that goes :
I get knocked down
But I get up again
No you're never gonna keep me down
It's meant to portray the unbreakable spirit of the people of color and how they will always stand up against tyranny.

it makes perfect sense
He was a stormtrooper.
Look how easily all other troopers get owned. The only reason he made it anywhere is because the force willed it.
