Limmy's show is easily the best sketch show ever.
And it was literally only shown on TV in Scotland. Filmed for the BBC and everything, but they thought people in England and Wales wouldn't get it or something. Absolutely fucking mental, when it's one of the best shows they've produced in years.

I mean, the whole 'one pound of feathers vs pound of steel' thing is a joke. But all Limmy did was get on TV and say it. If a little kid told me a generic knock knock joke, and I made a TV program where I acted out that knock knock joke, would I have made a joke? No.

I wish I were better at understanding certain accents, because the show seems really good. Whenever someone gets aggravated in it I can barely parse out what they're saying. But then again, english is not my first language. Any other shows similar to it that I could watch to help me get used to that kind of scottish accent?

You don't understand the joke. It's multi-layered, I'll give you a hand.
First, the joke is that he's telling you such an overused riddle. Then, the joke is that you're expecting him to reveal the correct answer, or make it into a gag, but instead he says the obvious retard line.
The joke then progresses into the fact that the character of Limmy is severely confused by a children's riddle, and the other cast members try to explain it to him.
Then the joke is that he still doesn't get it, even after they bring out some scales.
