Kylo is beating Rey and tries to get her to join him as his apprentice. He mentions the force to her during this speech. When this happens Rey says 'The force!', closes her eyes for a few seconds and is suddenly a great saber duelist.

Alright faggots, too much misinformation here from people that's basing their posts on two or three shitty webms and some cellphone pictures.
1. Kylo is gutshotted prior to fighting Rey and Finn. Gutshotted by a weapon that killed 4 or 5 stormtroopers in one blast in a prior scene.
2. Kylo force throws Rey and knock her unconscious at the beginning of the fight and take on Finn
3. Finn gets in ONE hit on Kylo, barely hurting him, before Kylo almost kills him (he's still in a coma at the end of the movie)
4. Rey had her force awoken earlier in the movie by touching Luke's lightsaber, so she's able to do a simple mind trick on a stormtrooper
5. She's starting to remember her force training in the fight with Kylo and she manages to hurt him in the fight by getting in two hits.
6. Kylo yells "traitor!" at Rey, implying they are both former pupil's at the Jedi Academy that he massacred 20 years earlier, resulting in Luke abandoning Rey and going into exile (as seen in the flashbacks)
7. It's also implied that they are related.
8. Also worth noting is that Kylo is incredibly conflicted while fighting Rey and Finn at the end because he had just taken his last step into the dark side by killing his own father.
Personal opinion: the bridge scene was genuinely well done and Adam's performance throughout the movie was equally well done. Anakin was butchered by Hayden's dry performance, Adam's Kylo was not.
the weakest character in the movie for me was Leia - Carrie struggled with her performance.

Ridley did a good job with the lines she was given but like Anakin in the prequels, some of the dialogue was so cheesy there was nothing she could have done really. Finn is actually the best thing about the movie, but only because he's the funniest. The comic relief is good but when JJ tries to make a drama scene he assumes everything has to be fucking pantomime. Pure theatrical nonsense from the characters in most scenes. I can't tell if it's Harrison or the writing but it doesn't even feel like Han Solo is in the movie. It feels like someone who looks like an old Han Solo has shown up but he acts nothing like him. Also Luke looks stupid. For some reason they went with the prequel mentality which is that the Jedi dress like moisture farmers. He wears a hooded cape for no reason.

If Star Wars was all I had access to as a child in terms of sci-fi I probably would become one of those crazy fanboys, but thankfully I had access to anime from very early on in my youth years that my mental balance is very stable.
Seriously, if you have watched Akira, you'd realize just how sophisticated anime is and it blows away anything Star Wars would have to offer.
A lot of people mention Ghost In The Shell, which has just enough of sexuality in the mix to draw in the western audience I suppose but I must say that Ghost In The Shell is not even in my top 10 anime, not even close, that's just how deep the world of anime is.
Some anime is so disturbingly mature like Fractale that I wish it would challenge the system and submit it as a Drama category in the Oscars just to bitchslap the snotty Academy.
It's not just the level of maturity and sophistication anime has, it's also quite original, entertaining, and visually fantastic. I would regard anime as the highest form of cinema art-form.
But hey, me preaching about anime won't do you any good, you gotta go out and see it for yourself just how much you are missing.
The recent one I would recommend to check out is Sword Art Online which is light and easy to get into anime for the first time yet appreciate it as much, but if you want the heavy stuff right off the line check out Guilty Crown in which the plot is so complex and twisted that you'll need extra oxygen pumped into your brain in order to comprehend everything, and if you want amazing visuals and a gripping drama that also has awesome mecha battles Aldnoah.Zero is the shit.

This guy is nothing compared to Vader. Vader never lashed out like a little bitch or destroyed computers. Vader was authoritarian, but also kept his cool, he was the fucking man. The only time you saw Vader mad was in the beginning, when he was like "I want those prisoners and I want them now!" or something. For the rest when he was informed something bad happened he would be decisive and say "come with me". He was also played by a big ex-bodybuilder, and Adam Driver, while an ex-Marine, is a fucking jew with a much leaner build. He also looks like Snape and his edginess is appropriate for some late 90s goth movie.

I simply disagree. I think the scene is very flat. There are no music cues or atmosphere, and the characters don't communicate at all, just talk past each other, so there is really very little emotion until Han is stabbed.
both actors are good, and that helps, but mostly I think you're enjoying the scene purely because the shock value carries it for you.

I don't know, 6 has its moments, but it suffers from the worst pacing in the series apart from 2. The ewoks tear the movie apart, especially the ewok village scene, the Jabba's palace section is interesting but horribly executed, and the movie has the most logical inconsistencies of the OT.
