I don't understand, /who/. Personally I hated last christmas, finding it a bit tawdry with all it's catchphrases and it's confusing alien that melted your brain or something.
But I loved the snowmen. I loved the banter everywhere, I loved smith's doctor being mournful and dark but unable to help himself in the face of someone who could give him hope, like the doctor's companions do. The plot was strong, the villain was smart and though the monster was a bit weak it wasn't really a story about that. I just don't get what people disliked about it, by the end it was a lot of fun; the most fun of any special in a while.
