Anyway if Stannis really is dead I think it ruins the series, because it means we aren't getting that last final battle at the end between multiple sides in one spot.
Reading the books it really seems like Stannis(with the North, Riverlands,possibly Vale), Dany (with Dragons, the Dothraki, Ironborn, etc), fAegon(with the Golden Company and Dorne), the Lannisters (with the Tyrells) are all going to square off near King's Landing for some final fuck huge battle right before the others come and another battle happens with Jon being somewhere in the mix saving the day.
But with Stannis dead and fAegon cut it looks like that either isn't going to happen or it's going to be so watered down it might as well not happen. Having it just be Dany vs the Lannisters is going to be boring as fuck.

Well Aegon isn't getting King's Landing without a huge fight with the Tyrells and Lannisters and we don't know how long it will take to rally all of Dorne, Dany is coming in supposedly after she gets the Dothraki and her Dragons situated and gets to Volantis. We also know Daenerys has to battle the "Paper Dragon beloved by the people". Aegon is not exactly beloved right now, so killing the Lannisters after gaining support from the Faith and the Tyrells could give him that popularity.
Going from Meereen to King's Landing takes four months in the books. And Dany would have to go from Vaes Dothrak to Meereen, to King's Landing. Meaning she probably can't go in at least half a year. Lannisters probably don't have that much time.
Going from the North to King's Landing also takes four months. Assuming some time to stabilize the North and negotiate with the Riverlords, Stannis can't be anywhere near King's Landing within half a year, either.
I am also not sure about why you think the North or the Riverlords would be interested in marching to the South again. Especially once Aegon kills the Lannisters. The Norfmen want to kill the Boltons and Stannis is known as a good commander so they rally behind him. That is it. Marching for months during Winter while Wildlings and broken men are also running around the North would be a terrible idea.

While what you suggest is definitely possible, consider his turn-around at the end of ASOS:

Add to that all his statements about how the Others are the enemies he was meant to fight, as well as the letter he sends to Jon Snow in ADWD that strongly suggests that Stannis intends to return to the Wall after taking Winterfell, and it's fairly likely that he will stay North and meet his end there.
Just for plotting reasons it would make sense for Stannis to end up as a sacrificial lion to show how dangerous the Others are, especially because GURM has kept them out of sight so far.
That said - again, what you state is possible, (though the timing would be wonky), albeit what I think would be more likely to happen is a Stannis vs. Aegon vs. Dany showdown. Both Aegon and Stannis are mentioned in the "slayer of lies" prophecy Daenerys gets, after all.
