They tried to do tons of shows similar to Lost and they all failed. Terranova, Flash Forward, The one where electricity disappears (lol) I cant even remember all of them.

It was not a huge success. A huge success is something like Breaking Bad, which started with no one watching and ended with massive critical and commercial success, being a social event for normies to flock to.
Lost started out a culture phenom, water cooler talk, with some decent acclaim, and then spiraled into nothing by a) becoming a much worse show and b) losing more and more of it's audience which led to c) budget reductions which led to d) the show sucking even more which led to e) a terrible final season in nearly every regard.
It is not a huge success, nor is it remembered fondly. It is remembered as a huge disappointment because that is all it was and all it ever will be.
