On my last outing with Don, he took me to Belmont park to ride the Giant Dipper roller coaster. He either did not know that they had a height requirement or did not check to see if they had a height requirement. I was too short to ride at the time so I cried and carried on all of the way home in his white pickup truck. When Don got back to the condo complex where the Hebblers and I lived at the time, he abandoned me and we had no contact with him since.
However, I did talk to Lynn a few times on the phone in August 2013 and she told me a great deal about my father that I did not know beforehand.
NOTES:
The flying Plane Room in the picture is a metaphor for my father's refusal to be a dad and take care of me and his airplane obsession. The man in the room is designed to look like my biological father and I do have excellent visual memory. This is very interesting as a CONCEPT but it doesn't work in the FILMS no matter how much you want it to. Yoda vs Sidious didn't have to happen at all when Obi-Wan and Yoda could've taken him on, or taken the footage of him killing Mace to the senate that was in session, or confronted him in public instead of going after him by themselves. The prequels get inherent flak for their fight scenes because the primary lightsaber fight in the OT had depth to them. The primary lightsaber fights in the PT do not. Can you imagine if Maul survived the encounter against Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon? If in Attack of the Clones he then got characterization, we get snippets of dialogue into how he turned to the dark side, him interacting with Sidious, learning who the fuck he is at all, and THEN Obi-Wan and Anakin fight him in that hangar? Infinitely more depth.
