Give some of the guys from Upright Citizens Brigade a job. Only Amy Poehler is working much these days.

If they cant get the original voices for the bots, why have the same bots?
Didnt the bots go back to earth with Mike at the end of the series, so why the fuck are they back in space with someone different? Are they exact versions of the bots? did the new guy create them? Did he somehow manage to create exact replicas of them? Oh wait theres absolutely no reason other than name recognition.

Jim spent a few years getting rich off MST3K royalties (he owned Best Brains) and producing crummy animated shorts about the bots. This year he finally realized this wouldn't work, sold MST3K to Shout Factory and became a therapist.
Paul Chaplin pretty much vanished off the face of the earth, but he's going to be writing for the new series.
