Realistically $750mil-$1 bil is reasonable if the movie is pretty good. If it's absolutely great it will pass $1.5bil. Anyone predicting more than that is ignorant of box office returns.

Could someone please explain to me why Avatar was good? I have no bias against Cameron, I liked Aliens and Titanic. T2 was good but not as good as T1 in my opinion. How exactly did Avatar become the highest grossing movie of all time?
