For those of us who were the right age at the right time, Kids in the Hall is a cultural touchstone. It could hold no higher honor. It is classic.

Cabbage Head
The show is popular as fuck among my friends that KITH references have become memes. Being Cabbage Head means to wake up hung over and groaning. While "Listening to the oompa band in my head" is spacing out.
I think it is odd that despite half the troupe being gay and it not even being that old you could never air half of their sketches because they are so un PC.
Definitely my favorite sketch show. I grew up watching that shit every day.
It's satisfying to watch but doesn't make me laugh out loud often.

KITH was better than all the other shows you mentioned because their material was much more personal and vulnerable while being just as subversive as all of them.
In a Mr. Show sketch, you knew who they were skewering: crass, craven marketers, paternalistic politicians, hipsters, out of touch old fogeys.
As much as I love Chappelle's Show, it can be boiled down to: black people are violent and ridiculous. White people are boring and power hungry.
With KITH, you laughed at businessmen, artists, women, gays, idiot teenagers, idiot parents, the mentally unhinged, mousey doormats, misunderstood geniuses. And they all had distinct voices. For my money, the only ones who could compete were the Pythons who were better, but became so iconic and idiosyncratic they're like the Beatles so no one likes to talk about them.
