who will play him in the inevitable biopic?
also, cast them /tv/.
Dane Dehaan as Reinhard tbqh, they have the same eyes and I can see him getting mad a lot
>>63626747
not enough muscle but maybe they make him work out some
>pic related as yang
charles bronson as merkatz since his design was based off of him lol
>>63627371
>Shiet
Act 1 - Reinhard rising, Yang takes Iserlohn
Act 2 - Alliance moves into Imperial territory, fails and then civil war
Act 3 - Empire destroys Alliance and the formation of the Iserlohn Republic, death of Yang and Reinhard scrunched together

A trilogy? Too long for a single movie
>>63627748
That's 3/4 of the plot in the third act.
>>63627911
Yeah thats what i meant.
Each act as a movie
>>63627971
can't really sell Yang talking to Julian in a drab office for 2 hours to an audience
>>63627994
I'm just not sure condensing what was 30 or so hours of material in the show into a single movie is viable. There are probably things that could be cut or shortened, but that's asking a bit much.
>>63627371
I couldn't stop thinking that during the show. It's really uncanny.
>>63626569
Is Wilford Brimley still acting? Because that old as fuck Alliance guy looks like him.
Also, for the obvious oneBoyega as Mashengo.
>>63628124
I'm just saying how I imagine Hollywood would do it I guess.
You really don't have have to support a cast of hundreds to tell the story either.
>>63628166
>Because that old as fuck Alliance guy looks like him.
Bukek?
>>63629057
Pretty sure that's the one.
>>63626569
John Boyega as Reinhard to fill those diversity quotas.
>>63629102
And the danish girl as kircheis
>>63626569
>/v/-tier anime
>>63626569
What's going on mate
Jake Gyllenhaal as Reuenthal
Jason Clarke (maybe beefed up) as Walther von Schenkop
>>63629148
That's from the all-women musical adaption isn't it? It actually sounds pretty based.
>>63629122
I don't know what /tv/-tier anime would be but pic related is the GOAT science-fiction OVA. And it actually just occurred to me what /tv/ tier anime is.NTR
>>63629292
>all-women musical adaptation
Nah, just a bunch of japs prancing around
>>63629292
Only the first genocyber ova is good, and even then is too contrived.

Part 3 > Part 1 > Part 2

>>63629380
>part 3
>not absolut kinography in animu form
Make sure that you watch it dubbed for bonus patrician points. I'm not even joking. That one actor who sounds lost all the time is my favourite part of the whole thing. His performance really drives home that confused, fever-dream like tone of the third part and to a lesser extent the whole series.
This music playing while Ryu and his girlfriend perform their gypsy tricks is as kino as anime gets: https://youtu.be/F5BwEGQqnI0?list=PLED01FEB339A64994
There's a massive japanese casting list picture floating on the internet with pictures of actors and the names of the characters written under them. It had like every LOGH character in it.
Don't know about other characters but I'd probably cast 80's Arnold as Schenkopf
>>63629475
>absolute kinography
so part 3 is literally ascension du chevaliar noir?
no thx
