I just rewatched the trilogy yesterday. Aside from Special Edition shit, the most cringey moment was those two guys at Jabba's palace weeping over the dead Rancor. For some reason this takes up a whole 20 seconds or so and is just completely bizarre and out of place.

I'd call it something else, but there is nothing else to call it. It's a Tarzan yell. It's the yell that Tarzan makes when he swings on a vine. I can't refer to it as anything else because Tarzan made it up. It's his yell. The fact that Chewbacca makes the same yell when he swings on a vine can only mean one thing: he's seen a Tarzan movie. Presumably he, E.T. and Doctor Emmett Brown all caught a matinee sometime in the mid 1950's. The real question is this: Did this happen before or after the Clone Wars?

I always found the scene in Cloud city where Han and Leia are talking in that white room about Lando to be pretty poorly done compared to the rest of the movie. It's the only scene where the acting feels a bit wooden and the set and lighting just don't look good at all. I understand it's purpose in the movie, I just don't think it was executed that well.

For me it's the scene where Leia and Wicket first meet and are attacked by the two stormtroopers, but then Wicket hits one with a stick and Leia hits it with a log or some shit. It's supposed to be cute or funny, but feels out of place and a completely unnecessary scene on top of that.
Worst scene in Empire is when R2D2 gets spat out by the swamp monster on Dagobah.

The entire raid on the Endor moon just feels forced and not really interesting. I actually love the Ewoks and the relationship they develop with Leia and 3PO, but I don't care for the Rebel attack on the bunker. It's the only weak part in an otherwise fantastic film.
