You should be critical. The idea that entertainment is just "fun" and inoffensive is enfuriating given how much it shapes public percetion over a number of issues.

I've always liked that Zizek approach to popular culture. He's scrutinizing and criticizing it according to his own analytical tools but he still admits to enjoying shitty movies and shitty TV.
