God I absolutely hate that movie. It butchered what was a really entertaining book. It was even more disappointing that This Book is Full of Spiders was a total let down as well.

I enjoyed it but haven't read the book. I have heard that a LOT was cut from the book though. I liked the philosophical stuff, but I was slightly annoyed they didn't examine it further than a simple throwaway one liner each time.

I haven`t bothered reading it the premise didn`t really hook me. I might pick up the soft cover a year from now but I`ve already got a stack of book that I need to read so buying more hard covers at full price would just be a waste of money

They mixed the three parts together which is understandable since there was no way this would ever get more than one film but it really does dilute the story too much. I also just didn`t like the performances either.
