It's still one of the best if not the best musical number in a neo Renaissance Disney movie. I'd also like to give mentions to part of this world, circle of life (which is arguably better then can you feel the love tonight, if it wasn't for Elton John), a whole new world, and go the distance. I'd say that go the distance is truly the last song that's been featured in a classically animated Disney film that's impressed me.
All this love and nostalgia for shit like Tarzan, hunchback are from shitty kids born a few years after me who never watched the real good stuff. It's funny because I only got to see these newer shittier movies like Mulan in theaters. Was too young to see little mermaid or even beauty and the beast at the movies. But those are the ones I enjoyed the most at home on vhs.

Fun fact: everyone at Disney thought pocohantess was going to be a huge hit for the studio, and the lion king would be forgotten. A ton of people decided to work on pocohantess instead of the lion king. (They were both being made at the same time). It was generally believed that pocohantess was the bigger, better film.
